What do I do now that I’ve graduated?
ruthncls asked:
Last year I graduated from a technical school as a Medical Assistant. It was a poor decision to attend this school because the quality of the education was substandard. For example the software for medical billing wasn’t working and the instructor for the clinical part was inexperienced. To make matters worse, I was put into an externship site that was a nonprofit organization (a medical clinic for nonpaying patients) where I didn’t do much of anything. All these concerns were addressed to the administration but fell on deaf ears.
Now a year later, I still haven’t found a job in the medical field yet. Should I consider going back to school for a different career or still keep looking?

Check out the Air Force’s HPSP program. They pay for more schooling and then give you a job.

Forget job, do business. Rather than going back to school again, take volunteership at health organizations. School is total waste of time.
