How could I migrate some of my work experience to a different profession?

I’ve worked in medical billing for close to 20 yrs. Any ideas how I could migrate my experiences to another profession. I’m going back to college for Criminal Justice. But I need to work. My experience is coding, accounts receivable, medical claims denials, assist in managing billing office, managing billing software, generating, analyzing gain and loss reports, daily close, monthly close, in of fiscal year close. Any ideas..anyone. My mind draws a blank.

It sounds like you can use most of your work experience. Get a copy of the job description, and then compare what you did with what is listed.
